Employment Awarness Programme
Child labour is very much prevalent in the area. The majority of children were involved in
labour activities in domestic work and agriculture. In 2017-18, 50% of children were free
from domestic work. Children’s enrolment in anganwadis and schools has improved by
40% to 60%. People’s awareness of health has improved. Children now wearing enough
clothes in the winter season and baby immunization and nutrition diets are also taken care
of. Women now pay more care of themselves during the pregnancy period. As a result,
Malaria diseases have decreased during pregnancy. With Support of work of JAN .
People’s awareness of sanitation and hygiene also improved. They are now keeping their
surroundings clean. They are now drinking the safe and clean water of the hand pumps.
Awareness of the education of their children has improved. They are now beginning to
send their children to Anganwadis and Schools. Now Dalits and Musahar have realized the
importance of education in life. Their children are now going to school. The Dalits and
Mahadalit community have now become aware of the govt. schemes and programs like
social security scheme, IAY, Har Ghar Nal Jal Yojana, Balika Samridhi Yojana, etc. Now they
are making applications to take benefit of the govt. schemes and programs and enjoying
benefits of it. Gender discrimination is also reduced and the birth of the Son and Daughters
are not equally celebrated.

Achievements
187 school dropout children of the Dalits and Musahar Community have joined the
mainstream of education. 220 dropout girls received tailoring training and 220 young girl and
women got aware of their rights. The child labour ratio has also considerably decreased in the
project area.
