Environment Preservation Disaster Mgt and Pollution Control
JAN Has been Implemented a community awareness program on “Environment Preservation,
Disaster Mgt. and Pollution Control ” at 25 villages of Hilsa block, Nalanda district.
Achievements
Sensitized more than 26,000 community people on the importance of
plantation and forest, plantation of fruits plants, breaking of deforestation, preparation of
vermin compost, use of natural manure, health, and sanitation, garbage management, etc.
The work has positive impacts as people stopped cutting off old trees and started
plantations on their own and public lands. Govt. Jal, Jeevan, and Hariyali program were
strengthened.
